Data Processing Agreement
B2B data processing terms for Desk and enterprise customers.
Data Processing Agreement (DPA)
Argon Development — Article 28 AVG/GDPR
Overview
A Data Processing Agreement is available to enterprise and Desk customers who require a formal Article 28 AVG/GDPR agreement with Argon Development as data processor.
The DPA covers:
- the nature, purpose, and duration of processing
- categories of data subjects and personal data processed
- Argon's obligations as processor (confidentiality, security, sub-processor management, breach notification, data subject request assistance, and audit rights)
- sub-processor list and notification process
- international transfer safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses)
- technical and organisational security measures (see Information Security)
When is a DPA required?
A DPA is required when your organisation (as data controller) uses ARGON to process personal data of your employees, contractors, or customers, and AVG/GDPR applies to your organisation.
Standard Free and Flow subscribers — individual traders using the platform for their own account — generally do not require a DPA.
Requesting a DPA
To request a DPA, contact us at contact@argon-development.com with:
- your organisation's legal name and registered address
- your intended use case
- any specific requirements or amendments you need
We will respond within 5 business days with a draft agreement.
Sub-processors
Argon's current sub-processors are listed in the Privacy Policy. We provide advance notice of changes and honour objection rights as required by AVG.
